Being a teenager or young adult can feel really overwhelming sometimes — you're figuring out who you are, making big decisions about school, work, or relationships, and trying to balance it all while taking care of your mental health.
Betty Sue works with young people who are feeling stuck, anxious, down, unmotivated, or unsure of their next steps. Whether you're struggling with stress, self-esteem, family dynamics, figuring out who you are, or just feeling like things aren't working the way you hoped, therapy is a space to talk it through and start seeing real changes. Together, you'll explore what’s been getting in the way and create a plan to help you feel more grounded, confident, and hopeful about where you're headed.
Parenting a teenager can bring up a lot — frustration, confusion, worry, and sometimes even old wounds you didn’t expect.
Individual parent therapy is a space just for you, as the parent or caregiver, to slow down, get curious, and reflect on what’s coming up in your relationship with your adolescent. Together, we’ll explore how your own attachment style, past experiences, and communication patterns may be shaping your interactions — and how small shifts can lead to more connection, clarity, and confidence in your parenting. This is not about blame or shame. It’s about understanding your own story so you can show up with more intention, empathy, and presence for your teen.
